Which Countries Can I Call?

Voixium allows making calls to all standard proper and mobile numbers in the world at competitive rates. It might not be possible to access some premium service numbers or other special numbers in some countries. Rates and country codes are available on http://www.voixium.com/rates.html

Why is Voixium better than Skype?

1) Our rates mostly are cheaper in some countries. 2) With voixium you don't need computer, all calls made with real phone. 3) Voixium is better because we are an open network and we don't close doors to any other networks. This means that you can use Voixium to talk with people who use other networks to make calls over the internet. Also, you can configure any phone to work with Voixium. You can't do this with Skype. Idea cause they keep the 'basics' for VOIP standard: you can use SIP numbers. How Much Traffic Does Voixium Consume?

Voixium uses G.729 codec for transmitting voice. It implies 32kBit per second capacity usage. Traffic is consumed only during the conversation time, so the program consumes almost no traffic when it is active but call is not going.

How can other people reach me on my Voixium phone?

If the person calling you is a Voixium user they only need to dial your IP phone number assigned from Voixium. Or if you buy DID number, all calls on this number go to your Voixium vitrual number.
Calls between users are always free no matter what time or what day.

Calls to standard telephone or mobile numbers are encrypted until they reach public switched telephone network.

Can I Use Voixium with IP Phones and Analogue Telephone Adaptors (ATA)?

You can use Voixium Service with ATA and SIP devices.And we advice to use Linksys adapter, because with our autoconfigurator you can configure adapter in 5 minutes.

Can i use Voixium with software from computer?

Yes. Download x-lite soft caller http://www.voixium.com/files/x-lite.zip and configure it with your phone_number/password/ip .

I Have Problems with Making Calls. What Should I Do?

We recommend you always check your balance before making a call. To call specific destination you need to have enough credit for 1 minute call. If your balance indicates sufficient credit, check the format of the phone number you are calling. Can I use Voixium with Firewall?

Following ports should be opened for correct work of Voixium:
